The tattooed tradie, who largely works in concreting sector was found with six bottles of the substance referred to in court documents as performance enhancing drugs (testosterone enanthate and sustanon). The total weight was 42.2 grams.

The bottles were found when police went to a Forster house to investigate a domestic violence incident on December 20 last year, court documents state.

Osgood was “compliant” and assisted with police inquiries. He told officers he used testosterone to assist in muscle growth.

Ms Hawkins asked if Osgood was aware of the medication’s harmful side effects when used improperly.

Osgood told the magistrate he had “changed minds” about using since he was charged.

He was convicted and fined $400.
