A fire hose was allegedly found during police raids at Port Macquarie homes during an investigation into drug dealing and a business break-and-enter.
Two men have been charged with a string of property theft and drug offences.
The probe by the NSW Police Proactive Crime Team and Mid-North Coast Police was triggered following a break-in at a business on Hastings Drive last Thursday.
Police raided the Waugh Street home about 11am on Tuesday.
Officers allegedly located and seized a Fire and Rescue NSW hose and property linked to the business break-and-enter.
A 45-year-old man was arrested and taken to Port Macquarie Police Station, where he was charged with two counts of entering building/land with intent to commit an indictable offence and two counts of larceny.
He was also charged with possessing a prohibited drug and having goods suspected of being stolen.
The 45-year-old man was granted bail to face Port Macquarie Local Court on January 8.
Police also raided a home on Laguna Place just after midday on Wednesday.
It’s alleged police found and seized cocaine, MDMA, steroids, cannabis, more than $7000 cash and property linked to the break-in.
A 20-year-old man was arrested and taken to the police station, where he was charged with two counts of supplying a prohibited drug, as well as possessing a prohibited drug and dealing with property proceeds of crime.
He was refused bail to face the same court on Thursday.
Police investigations are ongoing.
