A woman has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to the murder of popular Coffs Harbour man Warren West four months ago.
Mr West, 41, died in Coffs Harbour Hospital after he was found suffering critical injuries in the early hours of September 26.
Emergency services were called to Kurrajong St at Coffs Harbour about 4.15am.
Strike Force Sandbach was established with Coffs-Clarence investigators joining forces with detectives from the Mid North Coast and Richmond police districts and the state’s homicide squad.
A man, 24, was arrested about a fortnight later and charged with murder.
He remains before the courts.
Police said that further investigators had led them to arrest a 38-year-old at Coffs Harbour police station on Tuesday.
She has been charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder and carrying a cutting weapon upon apprehension.
The woman was refused bail to face Coffs Harbour Local Court on Wednesday.
