A car has burst into flames in the drive-thru of a Queensland McDonald’s.
Wild footage of the blaze emerged on social media overnight as shocked onlookers filmed the spectacle at the Gracemere store in Rockhampton.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said crews were called to McLaughlin Street just after 8pm Friday.
“Our crews got there at about 8.15pm. We had a fully involved car on fire,” the spokesman said, explaining firefighters were able to put out the fire within five minutes of arriving and left the scene in the hands of police.
A Queensland Police Spokeswoman said the fire was non-suspicious.
Nobody was injured.
The level of damage caused to the store was not yet known on Saturday morning.
