A man has been charged after he allegedly hit a 40-year-old man with his ute leaving him with critical injuries, south of Brisbane.

A man has been charged after he allegedly hit a 40-year-old man with his ute leaving him with critical injuries, south of Brisbane.
Police were called to a Gloxinia Street address in Kingston on April 20, to reports a person had been hit by a car.
Police alleged a 40-year-old man attended the address in a white Nissan Navara Dual cab ute and hit the 40-year-old Regents Park Man.
He was left with critical chest and abdominal injuries but survived.
The 40-year-old Waterford West man was charged with one count each of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing grievous bodily harm, unlawful use of a vehicle, possession of dangerous drugs and common assault.
His bail was refused and he is expected to appear before the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on July 23.
