Confronting footage has emerged of a wild brawl at a major Brisbane shopping centre with shop attendants and customers forced to intervene.
Police have charged a 14-year-old girl following the incident at Westfield Carindale on March 11.
The footage given to The Courier-Mail shows a group of teens huddled around one girl before she is attacked outside Coles.
A worker at the fruit shop and multiple bystanders tried to break the girls up and ushered the alleged attacker outside the business.
Police will allege about 4.30pm a 15-year-old girl was punched by a 14-year-old girl while other youths filmed the incident.
The 14-year-old girl was charged on Monday, March 17 with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed/in company.
One witness told The Courier-Mail the girl who was allegedly attacked had been on her own before the group started to gang up on her.
She is expected to appear before the Brisbane Childrens Court on Friday, May 9.
Investigations are ongoing.
