Ute and car smash into homes at Sunnybank and Grange

A clean up is underway after a ute smashed into a home in Brisbane’s south and a woman has been taken to hospital after crashing into a house at Grange.

A car has smashed into a home at in Brisbane’s southern suburbs.

A police spokeswoman said they were called to reports a ute crashed through a fence at Goman St, Sunnybank Hills about 1.35pm.

A male driver in his 30s was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.

Just hours after this incident a woman, 81, crashed into the garage of her own home at Grange.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services were first on scene to remove the stuck car from under the house, before rescuing the woman from the vehicle.

The woman was transported to hospital in a stable condition with injuries to her right leg.

QFES confirmed there was no structural damage to the house.
