Who is Tanika Bromley?

Tanika Kristan Bromley’s Facebook profile lists her as being from Wagga Wagga in NSW.

She is 33 years old and is listed as being in a relationship with James Wood, the other housemate who shared the Gin Gin property with the missing teen.

Police have said Pheobe had lived with Ms Bromley and Mr Wood in their Milden St rental property for “a while” before her disappearance. That property has also been a crime scene.

How is Tanika Bromley connected with Pheobe Bishop?

The housemates to last see the teenager were identified as locals Tanika Bromley and James Wood.

The pair told police they had dropped Pheobe at Bundaberg Airport with her luggage, but officers said she never arrived, and her luggage has not been found.

Both Ms Bromley and Mr Wood have been interviewed by police and there is no suggestion they were involved in Pheobe’s disappearance.

A Facebook post from Mr Woods desperate to find her began circulating on social media.

He shared a post from the Queensland Police Service on May 16 in which he offered a “reward” for anyone with information or a “legit address” where the 17-year-old could be.

What was Tanika Bromley charged with?

Tanika Kristan Bromley, 33, was on May 27 granted bail after police allegedly found guns inside a car seized by detectives investigating Pheobe’s disappearance.

Ms Bromley has been charged with two counts of authority required to possess explosives and one count each of possessing/acquiring restricted items and unlawful possession of weapons. Mr Wood has not been charged with an offence.

Magistrate John McInnes on Tuesday told Bundaberg Magistrates Court Ms Bromley did not appear as a flight risk.

He said his concerns over whether to grant the Gin Gin mother bail related to potential interference by Mr Wood.

He granted bail after saying he determined any risk of interference would not be at her own doing.

The matter has been adjourned to June 23.

Outside court, Detective Inspector Ryan Thompson said the weapons found in the car had not been linked to the teen’s disappearance.

There is no suggestion she was involved in Pheobe’s disappearance.

Ms Bromley was spotted twice in two days at Gin Gin police station.

What was found at the property?

A Gin Gin property where the teenager had been living with two people has been declared a crime scene.

Police tape has been put up at the property which has a large bus parked out the front of it along with a boat.

Questions also remain over why the missing 17-year-old was living with a couple at a derelict home cluttered with rubbish and dead dogs in the backyard, now declared a crime scene.

What happened to Tanika Bromley’s car?

A grey Hyundai ix35 — the car that was meant to drop Pheobe at the airport — has been declared a crime scene.

The SUV, with Queensland registration 414EW3, which is owned by Ms Bromley, is undergoing forensic examination at a Bundaberg holding facility.

Images of the Hyundai ix35 appeared on the streets of Bundaberg with what appeared to be altered number plates.

It is unknown who altered the number plates.

The original number plate – 414 EW3 – had been painted and taped over to appear as 474 BW8. Black electrical tape and maroon paint appeared to have been used to change the letters and numbers.

The original registration was also a Queensland plate, but it had been covered and “NSW” written on it instead.

The Hyundai symbol at the rear had also been changed to a Toyota symbol.

Police were aware of the changes and were approached for comment.
