Opposition Leader David Crisafulli has vowed to lead a “massively” different government if he is elected in two weeks, saying he would urgently address the “big four” crises facing the state.

The leaders were asked by Courier-Mail reader Caitlin from Morayfield “What point of difference does your party offer? We’re hearing a lot of the same promises and jargon. How will your government be any different to your opponent’s?”

He said Queenslanders had the chance to vote “for more of the same” by electing Labor, claiming that would lead to “more victims of crime”, “electricity price rises”, “housing waiting list blow out and infrastructure failures” and “record ambulance ramping and waiting lists”.

“We’ve been given the clear message on the big four crises, they want to see change, and for every one of them, if they vote for change, they’ll get a fresh start,” he said.

Premier Steven Miles said there were “enormous differences” in his government.

He accused his opponent of running a “small target strategy”.

“Won’t tell you what he believes or thinks about anything, he has no plan for our state’s future,” Mr Miles said.

“In fact, he thinks he can just sneak in with rhetoric and slick slogans, whereas I have big plans.”

He said those big plans included the delivery of 50 cent fares and his annoucnement to provide free school lunches to state primary school students.
