A Queensland police officer will face court after allegedly failing to provide a breath specimen while driving off-duty.
The 41-year-old female senior constable from the Brisbane police region has been charged with failing to provide a specimen of breath and obstructing police.
She has been stood down from the Queensland Police Service and was expected to appear in Cleveland Magistrates Court on Monday.
QPS said in a statement: “In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have undertaken to inform the public when a member of the service faces serious allegations of misconduct.
“This does not mean that the allegations against the member have been substantiated.”
