Performer arrested in Brisbane over alleged sex assault in Perth
A British rap star has been arrested in Brisbane over allegations of horrific sexual assault offences on the other side of the country.

A popular British rapper has been arrested in Brisbane over horrific sexual assault allegations interstate.
Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, known as Yung Filly, was arrested on Tuesday after police allege the 29-year-old sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s in his Perth hotel room on Saturday after he performed at a venue.
Detectives travelled to Brisbane on Tuesday and arrested Barrientos. He was extradited back to Perth on Wednesday.
Barrientos has more than 3 million followers on Instagram and is a popular rapper and YouTuber in the United Kingdom.
He also performed at Havana Nightclub on the Gold Coast on October 6 just a few days before being arrested.
Barrientos has been charged with four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault, and one count of impede a person’s normal breathing.
He will face Perth Magistrates Court on the charges today.
