Passenger killed in Tamborine crash
A man has died after the car he was travelling in crashed in the Gold Coast hinterland.

A 41-year-old Thornlands man has died in Tamborine on Sunday night after the car he was travelling in crashed shortly after 6pm.
The man was a passenger in the vehicle, which left Williamson Rd near Waterford Tamborine Rd and hit a pole.
He sustained critical injuries and was declared dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle was a 24-year-old Alexandra Hills woman, who sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
The forensic crash unit is investigating the single-vehicle incident and anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dash cam footage are being urged to contact police.
