Man rushed to hospital after shooting at Slacks Creek

A man is fighting for his life after being shot south of Brisbane on Friday morning.

Multiple emergency services were called to reports of shooting on Rowanda Street at 1.15am on Friday. , One man was assessed with life-threatening injuries and rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

A man is fighting for his life after being shot in Logan on Friday morning.

Emergency services were called to Rowanda St in Slacks Creek just after 1am and found a man with a gunshot wound.

He was rushed to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a life-threatening condition.

No one has been taken into custody and there is no ongoing threat to the public.

A crime scene has been established.

The street has been taped off while several were police cars parked on both sides of the street.

Rowanda St was quiet and still as police continued investigations.
