Elderly man dies after hit by vehicle at Upper Mount Gravatt

A man in his 70s has died after he was struck by a vehicle on Tuesday night in Brisbane’s south.

A pedestrian in his 70s has died after he was struck by a car at Upper Mount Gravatt on Tuesday night.

The man died after he was hit on Macgregor Street near Westfield Mt Gravatt about 7.50pm.

He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition where he later died.

The driver of the car - a woman in her 20s - was uninjured.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam vision from the area is urged to contact police.

Investigations remain ongoing.
