An elderly man has died and a woman is in hospital following a two-car crash on Mt Coot-tha Saturday night.
The crash happened about 7.30pm on Sir Samuel Griffith Drive, when the 83-year-old man’s Nissan Micra collided with a white Subaru Outback.
The man, from Deagon, died at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the Nissan.
A 36-year-old woman, from Taigum, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Also in the Subaru was a man in his 30s, who was uninjured, and a male toddler with neck injuries who was taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
Police have called for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision of the Nissan Micra before the crash to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
