An 18-year-old man has been charged and another man is in hospital following a brawl at a Fortitude Valley pub early on Saturday.

An 18-year-old man has been charged and one man is in hospital following a brawl at a Fortitude Valley pub early on Saturday.
Emergency services were called to a pub on the corner of Brunswick and Robertson streets around 12.35am after reports of a fight involving a large group of people.
It will be alleged an 18-year-old man armed himself with a piece of furniture and assaulted multiple people following an argument.
A man in his 30s was taken to the Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
An 18-year-old Chermside West man was taken into custody by police and charged with three counts of assaults occasioning bodily harm whilst armed/in company and one count of affray.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on July 31.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has footage should contact Queensland Police.
Investigations are ongoing.
