Logan residents targeted by serial vandal smearing faeces on parked cars

A serial vandal has targeted at least five cars in Logan with crude messages smeared in what appears to be human waste, leaving residents disgusted and installing security cameras.

A serial vandal has been smearing what appears to be human waste across parked cars in Logan, with at least five vehicles targeted since late September, prompting one resident to install CCTV while another described the act as “disgusting”.

Images taken by Crestmead locals show crude, often illegible words smeared on panels, including “poop”, “harm” and “pm”.

Maddy Jenner said she woke to find her husband’s car smeared with the word “kastle” after it had been parked outside their home since 6pm the night before.

“We are upset and angry that someone would do this. This is a bio hazard and beyond disgusting. Our small children also witnessed it,” she said.

Mrs Jenner lives just metres from Crestmead State School and said no one else on her street had been hit.

She said she has since been contacted by at least four other people nearby who discovered similar poop-smeared words on their cars in recent weeks.

Another resident, Stephanie Nadolu, who lives just a two-minute drive from Mrs Jenner, revealed her car was vandalised on September 25.

“It was parked at the front of my property on Forestwood St. None of the neighbouring properties saw or heard anything at the time it took place either unfortunately,” she said.

“To be completely honest I’m disgusted that it happened in the first place. It makes my blood boil that someone can carelessly vandalise property that isn’t theirs to touch and use human excrements to display such disgusting behaviour.”

The residents said it “stank like human waste”.

But despite the unpleasant situation the victims of the vandal have found themselves in, residents have poked fun at the offender.

“Who did you give the sh—s to?” one resident jokingly asked.

“They’ve cracked down on the purchase of spray paint for tagging, perhaps this is the new style of tagging,” another suggested.

“This is what they meant by ‘Logan’s a sh—hole’,” a third joked.

A Queensland Police spokesman said they had no record of any poop-smearing incidents in the area. Residents who had been targeted are urged to file a report.
