BRONCOS forward Joe Ofahengaue and his partner Sofi Leota have welcomed their first child into the world – Mila Louise Ofahengaue.

The couple’s “greatest gift in the world” was born last Friday at 4.37pm, weighing 3.54kg.

Leota took to social media yesterday to announce the arrival.

“Our beautiful little Mila Louise Ofahengaue blessed us with her presence on Friday 15th May,” she wrote.

“She has us (esp her daddy) completely wrapped around her finger.

“Thank you Joe for the greatest gift in the world. She is an absolute angel and more perfect than I could have ever imagined.”

Their newborn was described as a “miracle” by the childhood sweethearts after she was conceived a year after Leota finished chemotherapy treatment.

The couple have been dating since they were teens and were shocked in 2018 when she was diagnosed with grade three breast cancer.

She had a mastectomy of her right breast, followed by a lengthy process of chemotherapy treatment.

Ofahengaue also took to social media yesterday to welcome his newborn daughter, saying he promised to “work hard and provide for you both. Love you endlessly”.
