A jewellery store north of Brisbane has been ram-raided - the second time in a month it’s been targeted by thieves.
Police said a vehicle was driven through Prouds The Jewellers at Bribie Island around 3am Tuesday, causing significant damage.
It’s understood the vehicle smashed through the shopping centre front doors, located on the corner of Goodwin Drive and Hornsby Road, at Bongaree.
It was then driven through the shopping centre towards the Prouds store before it reversed into a security door, police said.
In footage obtained by 7 News the thieves can be seen driving through the screen door before loading the vehicle with items.
A number of glass cabinets were damaged and jewellery was removed before the two offenders fled in the vehicle, police said.
It comes after the store was targeted on May 14, when two people gained access to the shopping centre and damaged the front display windows. The pair allegedly stole several items from the display windows before fleeing the scene.
A Queensland Police spokesperson said investigations remained ongoing for both incidents.
Prouds Bribie Island was contacted for comment.
In a separate incident, a Chermside jewellery store was robbed on Gympie Rd on Tuesday, when four men armed with hammers and metal bars entered the Shree Ganesh Jewellers.
Store owner Bijaya Sunar, 38, was hit in the head with a hammer when he attempted to stop the masked men from entering.
Investigations into the Chermside theft remain ongoing, but initial police investigations indicate the incident is linked to an armed robbery in Lutwyche on Thursday, May 8.
