HOUSE Rules winners Aaron and Daniella Winter have reaped the rewards of Queensland’s strong property market, increasing their house value by $600,000 in a matter of months.
Just seven months after purchasing a house at Broadbeach Waters for $1.015 million, the Gold Coast couple sold it for $1.662 million on Tuesday, according to the listing on realestate.com.au yesterday.
After a three-month flip, the property was on the market for just 46 days.
While the sale is below their $1.75 million asking price, it is still the biggest sale on the street according to records, with the previous highest sale on Moola Ct $1.235 million in 2011.
Aaron and Daniella, who have two children, set up renovation company Hype Build + Design after developing a passion for renovating during their time on House Rules.
They then sunk their entire $200,000 winnings from the Channel 7 renovation show into purchasing the home last September. House Rules starts on Channel 7 on Monday.
