Hatton Vale: Crash leaves man trapped, Warrego Hwy lanes closed

A man in his 80s was left trapped and lanes of a major highway west of Brisbane remain closed after a crash.

A man in his 80s has been taken to hospital following a crash on the Warrego Highway west of Brisbane early this morning.

The incident involved two vehicles, including one that overturned.

The man was taken to Ipswich Hospital while a second person was taken in a stable condition to Toowoomba Hospital.

Eastbound lanes of the Warrego Highway were closed for some time, creating big delays for motorists, but the road has since reopened.

Another person was taken to Ipswich Hospital in a stable condition following a second crash in the inbound lanes of the highway at Glenore Grove.

The crash is causing some delays.
