“The police called us at 6.30am in the morning its just heartbreaking its not something you want to wake up to and hear they’ve broken into and then to see how much damage was caused,” Mr Zineddine said.

The attack has left Mr Zineddine with more than $2000 in damages.

Mr Zineddine said his insurance premiums have gone up from each break-in in the past year.

”The difficult is finding the money, I don’t sit at home with $2500 for a new window, expecting this to happen,” he said.

“That money could’ve gone to my bills, instead I’m using it to get new windows.”

After a number of attacks, Mr Zineddine said he has had to look at new options for security.

“We rang a gentlemen who is a local guy who does roller shutters, we got a price to get them done, they’ve come back with a quote of $7500 to have two of them installed and fitted, I don't necessarily have that money on me,” he said.

A police spokeswoman said they were investigating a break and enter in a complex with multiple shops damaged around 3am on May 8.

No arrests have been made at this stage.

Businesses in the area told the Courier Mail in February they were afraid there was no end in sight.
