A man who climbed onto a rooftop in Fortitude Valley to avoid police with a warrent has been taken into custody.

A man who climbed onto a rooftop in Fortitude Valley to avoid police with a warrent has been taken into custody.
Several streets were shut as the man attempted to flee police by jumping on to the roof of a building.
The incident happened near Bonney Lane and Church Street at Fortitude Valley.
Bonney Lane and Church Road between Bonney Lane and Wickham Street were closed due to the police incident.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and to expect delays.
