Maroon pride was on full display as the Queensland side kicked off its 2025 Origin prep in front of cheering fans on the Sunshine Coast.

The Maroons brought Origin fever to the Sunshine Coast Stadium, kicking off their 2025 series prep to a rapture of applause from the crowd.
The Queensland side played a match against the Sunshine Coast Falcons to a huge crowd, many sporting maroon jerseys and merch as they cheered on.
During the game, the announcers kept things light joking with the crowd to put their phones away in case they were “Blue spies”.
Post-match, players spent hours meeting their supporters, signing autographs and chatting with fans.
Families soaked up the sunshine and balmy weather, making it a memorable day.
Hugh is a fan who had player Moe Fotuaika sign his arm.
“I just thought it was a funny idea to get the name tattooed on my arm,” he said.
