Dawn Services

With public services and marches cancelled due to coronavirus, Australians are being encouraged to mark the day from home.

Light Up The Dawn initiative backed by the RSL and News Corp asks Australians to host their own Dawn Services directly from their homes. From 6am listen to a streamed service from the Australian War Memorial and hold up a candle or a light. To make this easier the Light Up The Dawn website offers a Virtual Candle for you to turn your phone into a shining beacon. This initiative is free and simple to use.
