QUEENSLAND has recorded two new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the state’s total to 1026.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said health authorities know where the cases have come from.
Ms Palaszczuk has also announced $3.56m for Lifeline and $1 million for Legacy to provide community support during the coronavirus pandemic.

Health Minister Steven Miles said one of the new cases was a Queenslander in Western Australia.
He said the other contracted the virus from a known case in Queensland.
Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said she didn’t know yet whether the case in Western Australia had been on a cruise ship, but they had travelled overseas.
It was also revealed this morning that Lifeline would receive $3.5 million while Legacy would receive $1 million from the State Government to help manage the influx of calls during the COVID-19 crisis.
Uniting Care’s group executive of family and disability services Brent McCracken said more and more calls were coming in.
Twenty people are in hospital with seven in intensive care units and six on ventilators.
It comes after no new cases were recorded yesterday, six the day before and none on Monday.
As of yesterday, there were 1024 cases recorded in Queensland with 785 of those acquired overseas, 42 have been through local transmission and 17 have been acquired from interstate.
Six people are being treated on ventilators in ICUs.
The most cases are located within the Brisbane City Council local government area (408) followed by the Gold Coast City Council (189) and Moreton Bay (95).
