Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has secured a historic third term of office.
Ms Palaszczuk said she thanked voters "from the bottom of my heart" and said Queensland would continue to "stand strong".
Opposite number Deb Frecklington conceded defeat, but said she intended to remain as LNP leader.
Three seats on the Gold Coast remain too close to call after a swing towards Labor.
In the south, Currumbin and Burleigh remain on a knife-edge.
In a shock to LNP strategists, the northern seat of Coomera also hangs in the balance, although sitting MP Michael Crandon is expected to prevail.
There was also a strong swing to Labor in Southport, though it will remain in LNP hands.
The big exception to the trend was Bonney, where incumbent MP Sam O'Connor secured a massive 9.3% swing in the LNP's favour.
