Queensland Police are again appealing to the community for help after a crime spree targeted Toowoomba businesses.
It’s understood about 3.45am April 24, two offenders forced their way inside a pizza store at a shopping centre on Bridge St in Wilsonton.
A QPS spokesman said the pair stole two cash registers before moving on to an international grocery in the same complex and stealing a cash register.
Only a short time later, the pair are believed to have targeted a nearby takeaway store, stealing cash from the premises before fleeing the scene.
Police are also investigating a break-in and attempted break-in on Herries St and whether they’re related to the earlier incidents.
The QPS spokesman said two offenders driving a stolen 2021 Honda HR-V forced entry into a pizza store before attempting to break into a nearby pawn shop.
The offenders, who were wearing masks, then broke into a business vehicle parked at the Herries St site before fleeing the scene in the stolen vehicle.
Nothing was stolen from the stores or the vehicle.
The Honda HR-V was stolen from an address in Range St, Mount Lofty sometime between 10.30pm and 3am on April 24.
Police urge any witnesses or anyone with dashcam in the around at the time of the offences to come forward.
Investigations into this incident remain ongoing.
