Missing man found after vanishing from southwest Queensland

A man who went missing from Hebel on Friday afternoon has been found alive and well.

Roma police officers have been deployed to Mungindi and Hebel since late March.

A 29-year-old who went missing for 48 hours in southwest Queensland has been located.

Police launched a search for the man on Saturday evening, and he made contact with police on Sunday.

Police released a statement at 4.33pm on Sunday, March 30, to announce the search ended successfully.
