We’re a city built on ideas, both big and small which have changed the course of history. After all, where would we be if Jim Cavill had passed on building the Surfers Paradise Hotel or if Sir Bruce Small decided that canal estates wouldn’t be popular.
Creating the future isn’t for the faint-hearted, nor can it be left to negative, small-minded NIMBYs who, if they had their way, would see the Gold Coast ossify and fall into economic decay.
