Plans revealed today of koala overpasses on the light rail route are welcome, having previously been supported by both environmentalists and campaigned on by future-thinking young council candidate Zac Revere at this year’s election.

Mayor Tom Tate is never short of ideas but this one could have a serious and tangible impact on our shrinking koala population.

When it comes to the future, think big.
