A group of males who allegedly stole a taxi and used it in an attempted ram-raid have Northern Territory Police calling for those with information to come forward.
About 8pm on Sunday, police received reports a taxi had allegedly been stolen by three unknown males in Nightcliff.
Police say the taxi driver exited his car to enter a nearby house when the car was allegedly stolen.
A short time later, the taxi was allegedly used in an attempted ram-raid of a business on Moil Place.
The alleged offenders, who police say were unable to steal any items, fled the scene on foot.
A crime scene was later established and investigations were commenced by detectives from Strike Force Trident.
NT Police have urged anyone with information about the incident to contact 131 444 and quote reference number P25109081.
