Tweed arrest: Teenager arrested after alleged car theft, fires, robbery
A teenager has been charged after an alleged two-week crime spree around Tweed Heads and Kingscliff.

A 17-year-old boy has been charged after an alleged crime spree around Kingscliff and Tweed Heads over a two-week period.
About 1.40pm on Tuesday the boy was arrested at Kingscliff after Tweed/Byron police investigations into a string of alleged offences in the area between March 30 and April 12.
These include robbery, malicious damage by fire, theft, stealing from a car, fraud and breach of bail.
The teenager faces charges of:
* Robbery in company and damage property by fire for the offences allegedly committed at Tweed Heads on March 31
* Enter vehicle or boat without consent of owner or occupier, larceny and dishonestly obtain property by deception for the offences allegedly committed at Casuarina on April 4, and;
* Breach of bail for the alleged offending between March 31 and April 12.
He was refused bail in Tweed Heads Children’s Court on Wednesday and will reappear on a later date.
