GOLD Coast Titans is preparing for it first round clash with the Cronulla Sharks as if its 'business as usual' despite a drug scandal involving the Sydney team.

Up to 14 Cronulla Sharks are caught up in the scandal that threatens to derail its the first round clash with the Titans.

Gold Coast Titans had a training session at Cudgen this morning in preparation and refused to speculate on Sunday's game.

"Until there is something in black or white it's business as usual," the Titan's spokesman said.

"We are just preparing for the game."

The spokesman said the Titans were training at Cudgen because their usual training venue at Robina was still inundated with water.

"The team will have its final training session at Skilled Park on Saturday," the spokesman said.

The Gold Coast Titans will then head to Sharks Stadium for Sunday's clash.

Kick off is scheduled for 6.30pm
