Chinderah: 19-year old pedestrian dies after being struck by car on M1 Motorway
Police are calling on anyone with dashcam footage from the weekend of April 30 to come forward as investigations continue into the fatal crash.

Police have renewed their appeal for information after a teenager died following a crash on the north coast earlier this month.
Tragedy struck near Chinderah when a 19-year old pedestrian died following a crash on Sunday May 1.
Emergency services were called to the northbound lanes on the M1 Motorway near the intersection of Sexton Hill Drive, Chinderah just after midnight on the Sunday.
Officers attached to Tweed/Byron Police district attended the scene along with NSW Ambulance paramedics who attempted to revive the man but weren’t successful.
The driver of a Mitsubishi Pajero and the driver of a Toyota Hiace Bus – aged 36 and 52- were taken to Tweed Heads Hospital to undergo mandatory testing after the event.
Specialist police examined the crime scene after it was established.
As investigations into the incident continue, police are appealing for anyone with information or dash camera footage between the evening of Saturday April 30 and the morning of Sunday May 1 around the M1 Motorway, Chinderah, to come forward.
Police are also looking to speak to motorists who were driving in both northerly and southerly directions from Chinderah Service Centre to Barneys Point Bridge to contact Tweed Heads Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
