Two teenagers have been charged following an armed home invasion where they allegedly held a resident at knifepoint in their Riverina property.

Two teenagers have been charged following an armed home invasion where they allegedly held a resident at knifepoint in their Riverina property.
Police were called to a home in Lake Albert after reports of a home invasion where a group reportedly terrorised a resident before fleeing the scene with cash.
No injuries were reported.
Police established a crime scene, and an investigation was commenced under Operation Mongoose Southern into the incident.
Following investigations, a 17-year-old was arrested at his home in Hollows Crescent, Lloyd, on Tuesday where police also located and seized a machete, a baton and 43 grams of Cannabis.
Another 18-year-old was later arrested at a Lake Albert hotel the same day, with police also seizing a further 46 grams of Cannabis.
Both teens face charges of aggravated break and enter, committing a serious indictable offence, and possessing prohibited drugs.
The 17-year-old also faces charges for breaching an apprehended domestic violence order.
They have been denied bail and will appear in court tomorrow.
The investigation continues to target young offenders involved in break-ins and thefts.
