A man is dead and another has been hospitalised after a devastating single-vehicle crash in the Snowy Valley.
NSW Police reported a northbound car left the roadway and flipped onto its roof, with emergency services called to the Snowy Mountains Highway in Talbingo around 11am on Friday.
The driver, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.
The passenger, believed to be in his 30s, was treated for chest and arm injuries, with NSW Ambulance confirming the man was airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene was established and investigations have commenced into the circumstances of the crash.
