A man has been rushed to hospital after falling from a cliff in Sydney’s north, sparking a major rescue operation.

A man has miraculously survived after falling from a cliff in Sydney’s north, sparking a major rescue operation.
Emergency services were called to Balls Head Reserve, Waverton just after 9pm on Friday.
NSW Police and Ambulance representatives told The Saturday Telegraph on Friday night that officers and paramedics had to scramble down the rock face at Balls Head Reserve to reach the man.
A NSW Police spokesman said the patient was “in a serious situation” after falling off a trail and onto rocks below.
“Paramedics are trying to reach him, he is currently on a rock near the water on Sydney Harbour,” a NSW Ambulance spokesperson said on Friday.
The man, who is in his 20s, suffered serious head and arm injuries and was trasnsported to Royal North Shore Hospital later that night where he remains in a stable condition.
