Man rushed to hospital after Bass Hill stabbing

A man has been stabbed and another person has been arrested after an incident in Bass Hill this evening.

A man has been rushed to hospital and a woman has been arrested after an alleged incident in western Sydney this evening.

About 8.40pm on Monday police and paramedics arrived at a block of units on Beatrice St, Bass Hill after reports of a stabbing.

There, a man in his 60s was treated for a puncture wound to his shoulder before being taken to Liverpool Hospital.

A woman was arrested at the scene and transported away by officers in the back of a police wagon.

Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the incident.
