Jayden Freemantle-Neate charged with stabbing teen at Woy Woy
A man has fronted court on serious charges, including wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, after a teenager was allegedly stabbed in the neck on the Central Coast.

An East Gosford man has been charged after a teenager was stabbed in the neck at Woy Woy.
Jayden Fremantle-Neate, 26, has been charged with affray, wound with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and was also charged with shoplifting in relation to an earlier incident.
Fremantle-Neate did not front court and chose not to apply for bail in relation to the incident at Woy Woy, but pleaded guilty through his legal aid lawyer to the shoplifting offence.
Police said emergency services had rushed to a home on Ocean Beach Rd about 9.30pm on February 27 following reports of a violent assault.
They arrived to be told an 18-year-old, who wasn’t at the scene, had been stabbed in the neck and was taken to a nearby train station.
Paramedics rushed to the station to find a man who had suffered a serious stab wound.
The man was taken to Gosford Hospital. He was listed at the time as being in a critical condition but has since been discharged.
On Monday, police arrested Fremantle-Neate at an East Gosford unit.
Fremantle-Neate was required to enter any pleas in relation to the Woy Woy incident when he faced Gosford Local Court on Tuesday.
He was formally refused bail and will face court again in eight weeks time.
