Tributes to high-ranking Bandidos bikie Peter Martin killed in highway crash

Bandidos clubs around the world have paid tribute to a high-ranking bikie who was killed in a highway crash in western Sydney.

A high-ranking member of the Bandidos motorcycle club has been killed in a multi-vehicle crash in western Sydney.

Peter Martin, also known as ‘Bandido George’, with yellow Bandido markings on the front wheel hub of his Harley Davidson, was killed on the Great Western Highway outside Prospect Hotel just before 1pm.

Sources say he was a senior member of the motorcycle club and riding with another club member. The Daily Telegraph understands he was the president of the local Bandidos chapter in western Sydney.

The other rider and car driver were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and then rushed to Westmead Hospital.

Raptor squad officers rushed to the scene while crash investigation unit members took photos of the crash including mangled wreckage of two motorcycles.

It is believed the bikes crashed into a Mazda sedan.

Rescuers erected a red tent in the middle of the Highway to cover the decease man while forensics investigators and members of the crash investigation unit secured the scene and recorded evidence.

Police blocked the westbound three lanes of the highway for several hours.

His grieving sister, Annett Martin, honoured his memory by posting a photo of Mr. Martin wearing Bandidos gear.

“He didn’t just wear a patch, he was a brother, a dad, a song, a friend and uncle, his sister,” the woman wrote on Facebook, with a picture of her brother in a Bandidos T-shirt.

“Rest in paradise my brother. I know we didn’t always see eye to eye but that would never change the fact you were my brother and I love you.”

Bandidos clubs around the world are paying tribute to Mr Martin, known as Bandido George.

“We sent our deepest condolences to the chapter, family and friends of our brother Bandido George 1%er...GBNF...B.F.F.B #bandidosmc #australia #gbnf #bffb,” one club posted.

Tributes are coming in from clubs as far away as Bucharest.
