Former veep Kamala Harris has been spotted at Sydney Airport looking casually chic on her way to a Gold Coast Conference - although the price tag for her white sneakers might shock you.

Former US vice president Kamala Harris was spotted strolling through the doors of Sydney’s domestic airport on Saturday afternoon, on her way to the Gold Coast.
Ms Harris, the 2024 Democratic candidate who lost out to Donald Trump, is in Australia for a surprise keynote speaking role at a real estate conference.
The California native is one of 32 speakers presenting at the two-day Australasian Real Estate Conference (AREC), with the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre set to beef-up security measures for the event.
More than 4000 real estate agents are attending.
It’s understood her fee for presenting has not been disclosed, while delegates will pay between $995 and $1695 for a two-day pass.
Ms Harris was seen getting out of a black SUV at Sydney Airport with her entourage, handing her luxury tote bag from French designer Goyard Saint Louis to a staffer before walking in to fly commercial.
The former VP was dressed smart casual but sported a pair of $1350 white Celine sneakers.
It comes after Ms Harris was spotted dining with her husband Doug Emhoff and another couple in the Bathers’ Pavilion at Mosman on Friday evening.
Eagle-eyed passers-by spotted the US politician through the glass.
It’s the same waterside restaurant her Democrat colleague and former US President Barack Obama dined at in 2023.
When Mr Obama came to Mosman a security and NSW Police escort had to keep the crowds at bay while the 44th President had a meal, while Ms Harris’ dining experience was much more discreet.
