Australian rock legend Jimmy Barnes has issued a plea for help after a teenage relative was reported missing.
The Cold Chisel frontman took to social media on Sunday, appealing for assistance in locating Blake Powell — the nephew of his son, Jackie James Barnes.
“Please help us find Blake, Jackie’s nephew,” Barnes wrote in a Facebook post.
Police from The Hills Police Area Command launched the public appeal on Saturday, urging anyone with information to come forward.
“Please keep a look out for Blake Powell, 14 years of age. He has been missing from Castle Hill since 4pm, Friday 13 June 2025,” the statement read.
Powell is described as being 185cm tall, of thin build, weighing around 70kg, with a caucasian appearance, olive complexion, brown hair and brown eyes.
He is known to use public transport and frequent shopping centres across the Sydney area.
Police and family members hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age.
Anyone with information on Powell’s whereabouts is urged to contact police immediately.
