TERRITORY Coroner Greg Cavanagh will reopen an inquest into the mysterious disappearance and suspected murder of Larrimah man Paddy Moriarty.
The inquest began in June 2018 after the 70-year-old disappeared without a trace from his home in the tiny outback town just before Christmas the previous year.
But the hearing in the Katherine Local Court was adjourned indefinitely after almost every other remaining Larrimah resident had given their evidence.
Early last year, NT Police offered a $250,000 reward for information that could break open the case but no trace of Mr Moriarty has yet been found.
On Monday, Mr Cavanagh announced the inquiry would now resume on April 6.
