Mindil Beach Markets back on in Darwin for 2025
The iconic Mindil Beach markets are back, and were celebrated with a stunning fireworks display and glorious sunset.

The iconic Mindil Beach markets kicked off for the 2025 season on Thursday night, concluding with a stunning fireworks display to mark the occasion.
Thousands crushed into the seaside market strip – with carparking overflowing into the nearby Mindil Beach Casino Resort.
Dozens of food trucks including juice bars, crocodile burgers, curries, calamari and the classic potato swirls kept the crowds fed and happy.
And along with the usual retail stalls stocking everything from jewellery, to candles, clothing and taxidermied cane toads, there was a special kids area.
To mark the first sunset, crowds converged on the beach to clap as the sun went down, as punters enjoyed camel rides on the shoreline.
The opening night was be celebrated with a fireworks display at 8pm.
The markets run on Thursday from 4pm to 9pm and on Sunday also from 4pm to 9pm.
Live music runs periodically through the evening until 8.30pm.
