All the winners from the CAFL 2024 Minahan Medal night
A South Alice Springs goal ace and an impactful West Alice Springs star received the top honours in the 2024 CAFL night of nights. Check out all the winners and see the league’s standouts.

South Alice Springs forward Daniel Stafford has won his second Minahan Medal, while West’s Jessica Harnishfeger has secured the prestigious Margaret Liddle Medal.
Stafford previously shared the honour with Toshie Kurnoth in 2018, and earned his second top accolade with 16 votes this season for his performances as a forward.
In total, the big man scored 41 goals from nine games to secure his place as one of the league’s most dominant players.
He led last year’s winner Abe Ankers, from Federal, by a single point.

His contributions played a key role in Souths’ 2024 campaign that frequently saw them battling for the top spots and ultimately finished second with eight wins in the regular season.
Meanwhile, Harnishfeger had a stellar year for Wests, scoring 13 goals in 13 matches and as such earned 16 votes for her efforts.
Her performances were pivotal in West’s strong finish to the year in which her outfit secured second with nine regular season wins, and now gets the chance to tackle the grand final.
CAFL representative field umpire Alex Reardon was honoured with the KFC Golden Whistle, recognising him as the top-performing umpire of the season.
The stars of the future were also acknowledged with NT Talent Academy’s Tyreece Forbes winning the Kev Prior Rising Star award after impressing immensely throughout the season.
Bella Foster won the women’s Rising Star accolade after an impressive year, which included captaining the CAFL women’s under-23 outfit.
Souths had further medal success in the under-18s where Duron Davis was judged the best of the year, while Latoya Young dominated with 27 votes in the under-17s girl’s competition.
