2025-26 NTFL live stream: Watch Waratah v PINT in Round 10
PINT have passed their biggest test as league leaders with a dominant second-half blitz demolishing Waratah to extend their advantage atop the NTFL table. Watch the REPLAY here.
Set up by an outstanding second half performance, the Greenants now sit alone at the top of the table following a 38-point win over Waratah at Gardens Oval.
It was the Greenants big test as they played their first Premier League game as the league leaders and they did not disappoint.
The Ants were troubled by a tenacious Tahs early but a four goal to nil third term secured the eventual 12.7 (79) to 6.5 (41) victory.

Red and white forward Jayden Magro soccered through the first goal of the game after five minutes of play, and while PINT had plenty of the ball in their front half, they couldn’t post the equaliser until Noah Spiteri found space and bombed home.
A quick reply came from Brodie Carroll with a set shot from 45m out and a late goal from Jake Gasper gave the home side a slender three-point buffer at the first break.
The Ants pressed hard early in the second, but it took three minutes before Kyle Weightman produced some magic and goaled while under extreme pressure.
Joel Stevens and Jack English got the home side back on track, but the PINT pressure was finally rewarded when Sam Bates courageously slid into a tackle and goaled following the warranted free kick.
And when the same player booted another one minute later, the visitors hit the front in red-time and took a four-point lead into the long break.
A spectacular opening of the third resulted in a goal to PINT forward Hugo Timms inside the first minute of play.
Another to Timms soon after and the Ants had some scoreboard breathing space and when Spiteri got the next one, and Timms his third for the term, the game became a procession with the Ants in dominant form while Tahs just couldn’t find the big opening.
Waratah broke their goal drought midway through the last, but Jak Trewin’s kick off the ground equalised and essentially sealed the deal for PINT.
Pivotal in the win was ever-present Green forward Noah Spiteri whose three goals all came at crucial times. Spiteri, recruited from Albury-Wodonga was playing only his third game but said the second half improvement came from a belief that his team had got the upper hand late in the second quarter.
“We felt we were getting on top late in the second quarter, so the message was to bring the same attitude and heat in the third which we did, and the scoreboard told the tale,” Spiteri said.
“I’m up from Albury-Wodonga and this is my first year and third game up so while the footy is different the experience is great; I’m up here till the end of January and then I’ve got a teaching job back home but hopefully I’ll be back for the end of the season.
“Other results went our way this weekend and we are now clear on top of the ladder and while it is a well-used cliché, we are just taking it a week at a time and don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves.”

PREVIEW
Two of the competition’s form sides are set to collide as league leaders PINT meet the consistent Waratah in a must-watch encounter at Gardens Oval.
Every moment of the match will be streamed live and free from 6.30pm on Saturday by The NT News and KommunityTV as part of our season-long NTFL coverage.
WHY TO WATCH
PINT made the big jump up to top the NTFL Premier League ladder for the first time in their history and, if results and percentage go their way, they can stay a little longer.
The Greenants have made a stunning case for finals footy in the first half of the season after missing out last year with new inclusions making their mark.
Southport’s Jacob Dawson and Brayden Crossley made an instant impression in their return to the side last week while James Rowe continues to set the league on fire.
Cameron Wilson was another big in with his ball-winning ability proving vital across the midfield while the SANFL experienced Murphy Short made a strong impression too.
They now come up against another test in a Waratah side that have come out of a gauntlet of matches looking better than when they went in.
First they beat Nightcliff in a tight home fixture, almost toppled Districts away and put on a second half clinic against the Tiwi Bombers on the island.
That’s as strong an indication of form as any with the likes of Joel Stevens and Joel Hillis being impressive when getting their chances to feature.
