Ayr Nature Display

The Ayr Nature Display on Wilmington Street is Australia’s finest, preserved collection of butterflies, moths, beetles, crustaceans, sea shells, reptiles, rocks, timber, aboriginal stone implements and fossils, especially ammonites, all under one roof. Little Crystal Creek and Big Crystal Creek are an hour’s drive north of Townsville at the Paluma Range.
