The high-profile survivor of billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who alleged she was trafficked for sex to Prince Andrew has been farewelled in Perth in a private ceremony.

Police said Virginia Giuffre died on her farm in Neergabby, about 80km north of Perth, in April in circumstances that were not deemed suspicious.

Police are currently compiling a full report for the coroner, The Sun reported.

She was reportedly cremated in recent days at Pinnaroo Valley Memorial Park in Padbury.

The West Australian reported on Sunday that a private funeral service was held, and that the service was not publicly advertised.

Ms Giuffre, 41, made international headlines when she accused Prince Andrew of sexually assaulting her when she was a teenager.

The mother-of-three was pictured in an infamous photograph with the prince and Ghislaine Maxwell, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison for conspiring with Epstein to sexually abuse minors.

Ms Giuffre was inspired to “fight back against those who had abused her and so many others” when she held her newborn daughter for the first time, her family said in a statement.

“She was heroic and will always be remembered for her incredible courage and loving spirit. In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight.”

Ms Giuffre became the most prominent of Epstein’s victims after she filed a lawsuit in a New York court in 2015 alleging that the billionaire Wall Street financier and his longtime companion, Maxwell, had recruited her as a teenager.

Epstein’s accusers were left without justice following his death in custody in August 2019.

Ms Giuffre brought a civil sexual assault case against Prince Andrew, which was ultimately settled by the royal in 2022 without any admission.

In a separate suit in New York against Maxwell, Ms Giuffre alleged she had been kept as a “sex slave” for the rich and powerful.

She claimed to have been recruited by Maxwell when she was aged between 16 and 17 and was “passed around like a platter of fruit” to Epstein’s rich and powerful friends in a 2019 interview with the BBC.

At the time of the alleged offences, Ms Giuffre was working at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach.

Mr Trump is not accused of any involvement in Ms Giuffre’s case nor any wrong doing.

Upon her death, Ms Giuffre was facing a charge of allegedly breaching a family violence restraining order taken out by her estranged husband, Robert Giuffre.

She had also recently survived a bus crash, and claimed to have been badly injured, after which she posted a photo to social media of her bruised face and the cryptic caption: “four days to live”.

Ms Guiffre leaves behind three children — Christian, Emily and Noah.
