A driver was taken to hospital in a serious condition after crashing into two parked cars in Mermaid Waters last night.
Police are investigating after finding the 37-year-old man unconscious in the car with a quantity of drugs.
The man is believed to have crashed into another car and a four-wheel drive parked along Gretel Drive just at about 7.15pm.
The driver was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Minutes later at about 7.20pm, another patient was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital after colliding with a vehicle on the Pacific Motorway at Mudgeeraba.
Paramedics earlier treated a cyclist in his 50s for a shoulder injury after a crash on Robina Parkway Exit and Markeri Street at Robina at about 6.30pm.
He was taken to Pindara Private Hospital in a stable condition.
