Young girl rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital in life-threatening condition
A child has been rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition after a vehicle and pedestrian incident on the Gold Coast.
A young girl has been rushed to hospital in a life-threatening condition after a vehicle and pedestrian incident in Tallebudgera on Thursday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Tallebudgera Creek Rd, Plaza St just before 4pm to reports of a vehicle and pedestrian incident.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson confirmed a female pedestrian was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a in a life-threatening condition with head and leg injuries.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson confirmed the pedestrian was a female child.
A police investigation is underway.
